I hope today finds you well! I thought of you the other day—all of
us, actually—who, like the sunflowers, keep turning our faces toward the Light. As my husband and I drove north toward Charlevoix, edging along Grand Traverse Bay, we passed field after field of sunflowers in glorious array. They were following the path of the sun, seeking subtle streams of sunlight to warm themselves as they grow.
You may be aware how challenging it is on some days to remain positive and hopeful amidst "the crashing of worlds," as Yogi Paramahansa Yogananda wrote. Amazingly, he penned these potent words over 80 years ago! Yet, here they are today still ringing true, which tells me that life on earth, by its very nature, is challenging, and it will likely continue to be. It is up to each of us to do all we can to stay rooted in mindsets and practices that promote love,
perpetuate peace, bring joy and grow hope. May it be so!
If you've struggled to be fully and compassionately present to others—people of any spiritual persuasion, ethnicity or belief system—then this retreat is for you.
We all want to do better, to be better; to be more loving, open-hearted and welcoming to people who might believe and live differently than ourselves, don't we? We don't really want to exist in a world divided, do we?
• Pure Presence" can help bridge
the divide.
• Pure Presence enables us to listen deeply; to offer the purest empathy and care to whomever we are with.
• Pure Presence helps us become more aware of the sacredness of each person.
• Pure Presence is the best way I know to both deepen and advance spiritual understanding and care in our homes, neighborhoods, workplaces and religious communities.
Will you join me on October 19 to
strengthen your ability to hold loving presence for all beings everywhere—even those with whom you may struggle most deeply?
I hope you will accept this beckon call to live into the Love that you are, and the Love you are here to express in the world. Here's how to join.
