Lay your weary head down

An invitation to retreat
with Jan Lundy
"You will remind me that I must try to be alone for part of each year—even a week or a few days, and for part of each day, even for an hour or a few minutes, in order to keep my core, my center, my island quality."
~ Anne Morrow Lindbergh

Lovely friend,

I'm reminding you.

When was the last time you went away by yourself, or spent time with women like yourself, women who have a timely need for peace, quiet, space, nurturing, and deep care? WHEN?

Perhaps you never have; never given yourself permission to step away from the fray to focus solely on you and your well-being. Or, it's been a very long time, and you know you need to find your center, but are not sure how, or where to go.

Today, I recorded this special message just for you, to help you remember your "island quality"—the importance of being "self-contained," as Anne Morrow Lindbergh called it. And the importance of taking time for retreat. I urge you to consider a retreat with me this summer or fall. A sojourn in a magical oasis in mid-Michigan where your inner being will be honored and restored.

"The Kindest Thing" retreat experience is a once-in-a-lifetime journey into how to live more gently with yourself. Held in a setting of extraordinary beauty and comfort, your retreat will offer true rest, facilitate heart opening, and lay the foundation for a new lifestyle that is self-compassionate and kind.

There are two retreats to choose from in 2016.

"Trip to Bountiful:
Nourishing Your Inner Spaces"
    August 4-7, 2016  (4-day retreat)

"Fall-ing, Resting, into Love"
    Sept. 30 - Oct. 2, 2016  (3-day retreat)

Interactive but contemplative group sessions in the art and science of self-compassion. Time is spent in reflection, loving-kindness practice, breath & body awareness, creative expression, journaling, enjoying nature, walking the labyrinth, and more.

This is an intimate retreat experience with personal attention and is designed to accommodate only 7-10 women. (Non-sectarian and inter-spiritual in focus.)

As always, I am sending you well wishes of loving-kindness, comfort and joy. Please be good to yourself. You are precious to me. I hope to see you soon!

Jan
