Welcome to this week's self-compassion video.
There is a danger on the spiritual path. It's believing that just because you read about or study something you will BE it.
Meaning, very few of us actually PRACTICE what we are so excited reading about. For example, if you want to feel more calm
inside, you have to practice inner calming techniques. If you want to be kinder toward yourself, you have to actually practice self-compassion.
We, literally, cannot think our way into higher states of being. We have to practice techniques that help us get there again and again.
As I began to seriously practice being kinder toward myself, I created a fun way to make this happen. I made "Kindness Cards."
