Welcome to this week's self-compassion video.
I am not ashamed to say that I often hear voices in my head. I am pretty sure you do too.
Some sound just plain crazy. Some are so ridiculous, not founded in any source of truth, but they are there just the same. And, boy oh boy, do they have a tight hold on us!
These "voices" are often sourced in various aspects of our ego self. They might sound like self-doubt or self-judgment. Anxiety or worry. It really doesn't matter what the
message is; the vast majority is sourced in FEAR. And one of the most common fears that women experience is what other people will think about us when ...
Like when I chose not to send out a video. As I was in the middle of that process of deciding whether to make one or not—and in the aftermath of making
that—the voices were LOUD. Holy moley!!
Today's video explains how we all have these voices and what we can do about them—kindly, of course!
May you heed the voice of your heart when life feels difficult.
May you continue to choose the kindest things for yourself.
Blessings,
Jan
