A Sadhana (period of spiritual practice) for mid-life women, later-in-life and "ElderWomen"
Lovely friend,

If you are anything like me, you must have plenty of thoughts and feelings about aging. As the saying goes, "Aging is not for sissies." No, it's not. It takes courage to age gracefully and wisely!

What I'm learning when it comes to my own aging is that if I am open to all of my thoughts and feelings about it, AND, I do so with a kind and generous heart, everything about aging feels different.

For me, aging is becoming a time of confidence and trust; delight and contentment. It is a time of FREEDOM and claiming our WISDOM.

But in order for any of us to get to that spacious place, we have to transparently look at what we're really feeling about aging and why. What worries or frightens us? Confuses us in terms of our youth oriented culture?

We have to let go and heal; surrender to the reality of certain situations so we can embrace the gifts that they can bring. We also to have to transcend phony cultural expectations; dive into self-acceptance so that we live without apology and be our true selves in the world.

The good news is that we can do ALL of this kindly, gently, with self-compassion. And we can do it as a spiritual practice—an offering to the Sacred.

Please join me for a beautiful new offering that can help you do just thus:
The Self-Compassion Sadhana:
Aging as a Spiritual Practice
