Welcome to this week's self-compassion video.
Dear One,
Oh, gosh. This is a big one. It's something we all do. Personally, I
don't know one person who does not do this, except maybe my husband. ( I wonder if men do this less than women ... hmmm.)
Today's video features my thoughts on this one very
destructive habit—comparing yourself to others—and what you can do to break that habit. We'll "kill it with kindness," as they say.
I'd love it if you'd give the practice that I share a try. It's amazing how well it works. Even more amazing is how it can transform your confidence and your courage: the courage to be yourself!
In our aging years, we may lose confidence in ourselves and, more than ever before, compare our unique aging process to those of others. There's still time to gain insight and support for your "wisdom years" by joining my new Sadhana: "Self-Compassionate Aging."
May you treat yourself as kindly as you do others.
