Lovely One,
I
can only imagine how busy you might be! Are you dashing about like one of Santa's reindeers trying to create the perfect holidays? I'm choosing differently for myself this year and this short newsletter features some of the ways I am—and some of the ways YOU can have a completely sacred, prayerful, joyful meaningful holiday season.
Perhaps you can take a few minutes right now, pour yourself a cup of tea, put your feet up, and relax into the present moment to REMEMBER what your life and this holiest of seasons is all about. I'm here to help. May you find these insights and resources as soothing to your soul as a warm bath, a cozy fire and a hug from someone you love.
Bless your heart and your dear ones too. You are ALWAYS in my thoughts, heart and prayers. May peace, love and joy be truly yours.
Love,
Jan

"Presents" or "Presence"?
|
My new blog post invites you to focus on "presence" and the idea of boxless presents for meaningful holidays that create forever memories.
I am a being of beauty and light. My mind is strong, pure and clear. I focus my attention on what is good, right and true. I cherish my life and my loves, And give thanks for all I have been given.**
"I want to deepen my prayerfulness this season." |
This is what a spiritual friend said to me the other day. I heard her loud and clear. I feel this way too. I want the holidays to be focused on the Light, the Christ Within, Ultimate
Goodness, harmony. But there is so much that distracts us from holding the Sacred close. Here is my answer and response to her.
I arise with the dawn and greet the day with gladness. I am a blessed being. I have this one precious day to live fully, to love fully, and to serve. May I remember my highest purpose all throughout the day and be a blessing to others.** |
"Blessed are the pure in heart..." |
Nothing purifies the heart like gratitude. In the past few years, I have discovered that an attitude of gratitude is the great game changer, the heart mender, the soul opener—ESPECIALLY in
difficult times. The spiritual invitation of our day is this: How to feel thankful when everything around you is falling apart or life seems just plain crazy.
I am a being of love. I am here to bear the beams of love for the healing of all people. In so doing, I choose to treat others as kindly and lovingly as I treat myself. Nothing holds me back from expressing this love. I release all hesitation, all feelings of self-consciousness or fear about doing so. Divine Presence will hold me and guide me as I live out this sacred mission.**
