Lovely One,

Happy New Year! I believe most of us were really ready to enter a new year. 2016 certainly had its stressors and challenges!

As January 1st approached, I felt a deep call to rededicate myself to "living from the inside out." What does this mean? To know that our inner reality—the landscape of heart and soul—is our truest reality. It is the place in us where the divine lives. This is a place of peace and happiness, of love. It is also a place of equanimity and spaciousness, where, no matter what is going on in the world around us, we know how to stay in the F.L.O.W.

What is F.L.O.W? I've coined this acronym for it:
Faithfully
Living
Our
Wholeness

How does this sound to you? Would you like to stay in the F.L.O.W with me in 2017? To live "from the inside out"? I believe we have everything we need to feel happy and whole. The process (and practice) is simply stepping into that reality stream—and knowing how to re-enter it when we have moved away. To LIVE our wholeness and feel the benefit of that. Not just for ourselves, but for the benefit of all beings.

Eric Butterworth wrote, "Life is whole, and  you can never be less than whole." You are not broken or damaged or in need of repair. Your spiritual journey is ALL about connecting with your innate wholeness and helping others do the same. If we can do this, singularly and together, we are in the F.L.O.W.

I want to share a few resources and opportunities with you for staying in the F.L.O.W. I'll be presenting more as 2017 unfolds. I hope you will join me for what promises to be a thrilling year of healing and hope.

Bless your heart and your dear ones too. You are ALWAYS in my thoughts, heart and prayers. May peace, love and joy be truly yours.

Love,
Jan

"New Directions"
A Mid-Winter "Day Away" for Women
A nurturing day of reflection, comfort and community.

Saturday, Jan. 21 (9:30 - 3:30)

Grand Rapids, MI

After a life-altering year, it is good and wise to take time to “Reorient & Remember”, to come back to center. We will reflect back on our year and name it, then create a group ritual to set intentions for the new year of 2017. We will explore our current level of “willingness” or “willfulness” to engage in dedicated spiritual practice; to align ourselves with the Sacred in everyday life and discuss new, enlivening ways to do so in 2017. You will create a "Soul Whispers" card to help you create a “plan” for your spiritual growth for the coming year. This restorative "day in" includes, meditation, prayer, journaling, creative expression and time in silence for reflection. Learn more and register.

Today, I honor myself by taking time-in.
I welcome the respite from constant doing.
I allow myself simply to "be"
and rest in the pure presence of my own kind company.

"I need to get away..."
I often hear this from women and that is why I created "The Kindest Thing" weekend retreats: the perfect opportunity to relax, let go, eat well, laugh, rest and play with kindred spirits. Meditate, pray, connect with nature, and plug-in to the divine. A retreat helps you come back to center and remember what matters most—your innate wholeness.

The next Kindest Thing retreat is starting soon. Perhaps you would like to join me!   Learn more here.

It is good to be active, productive and useful,
but when busyness overshadows the beauty and benefit of spiritual connection, I diminish my relationship with the Sacred.

"I want to thank YOU
for your kind response."
I have loved hearing from so many of you about how my new book "Thank You" Is My Prayer is impacting you. Truthfully, these responses have come as a total surprise. It appears this book is my most popular book so far. I did not expect this. Though I really shouldn't be surprised. The idea, format and material for this book whooshed in on angel's wings in the middle of the night. It was given, not created. And though I don't often share something like this lightly, I have to tell you that the Creator/Divine One/Angelic Helpers/Love wanted this book to take form. How could I say no?! In the blink of an eye—effortlessly— it was compiled, printed, and released— in less than a month! It was definitely a gift from Spirit.

"Thank you, God!" is definitely my most offered prayer these days. It can be for you too.   Here's how.

"I have heard from the many people to whom I have given your book what a transformational gift it is and will continue to be.I have ordered so many in order to gift others with it as your work has so deeply impacted my life."
~ Susan C.

"The recipients of "Thank You" Is My Prayer are absolutely loving the book. I spoke with my mom this morning and she thanked me again and said she's reading it every night before bed. I believe the beautiful words you wrote from your heart are comforting, uplifting and speak directly to her soul."

I take a deep breath  and commit to savoring life.
I return to the NOW, the precious present,
and allow myself to sink into its deliciousness.
I look, hear, touch, taste and smell with Joy!
With a grateful heart, I savor the brilliance of this world.
