I hope you are not a "mean receiver."
When I first learned about this term—mean receiver—from Sarah Ban Breathnach (in her book, Simple Abundance)—I felt quite offended by it. Surely, I was not that!
But when I looked at my long-held pattern of giving overly much of myself to others, I realized I was. I DID not receive well. A few examples:
• I brushed off compliments
• I did not accept other people's offers of help
• I did not
take time for myself and my own needs/always put others needs before my own
• I prided myself on doing everything myself--and perfectly!
Does this sound familiar?
During the holidays, it's easy to fall into the "mean receiver" trap.
Why? Because there literally is so much we need to give, do, and make happen for everyone around us. Let me help you break this pattern. And the strain it causes.
Let me shower you with blessings—one each day for 31 days during the
month of December.
All YOU have to do is simply RECEIVE them. Let them fall upon you like the gentlest of snowflakes. Let them nourish you so that your heart is fully open and loving during the holiest time of the
year.
You'll receive a blessing each day in support of one of the virtues of the Season—Love, Peace, Joy, Generosity, Gratitude, Remembrance, Hope,
and more.
Your first blessing will arrive on Friday, Dec. 1 when you choose to join me for "Harmonious Holy
Days."
Allow yourself to be filled up, nourished, with these original blessings—created just for you from the depths
of my heart.
And when you are filled (and only if you feel like it), pass the blessings on to others. Send them in e-mails, put them in greeting cards, use them to your heart's content, and share their healing joy with those you hold
dear.
Each day you will ALSO receive a "1-Minute Ritual" to make every day of December sacred for you and your loved ones.
"Harmonious Holy Days" CAN be yours ...
and even begin today—as soon as you register. When you do, you'll receive an audio (mp3) featuring "The 3 Sacred Rituals," a morning, noon and night 60-second practice to "Reorient & Remember": to infuse these holy days with grace and
joy.
I hope you will join me.
Let's remember, it's all about Love,
